With little or no previous painting experience it is possible to faux finish cabinets in your kitchen for a whole new look. This is a perfect finish for tired worn cabinets and it requires little expertise. It s done with just sandpaper or a sander to create a unique look. The blending brush will add a softer look to the faux finish.
Clean the cabinets with a mineral spirits dampened rag to remove surface contaminants. Sand the cabinets with 80 grit sandpaper to remove bumps and roughen the surface. Once the glaze is on all of the cabinets you need to use the blending brush to go over the glaze. Finish the faux finish.
