However too much and it can look heavy thick and cover up any graining you have. If your cabinets aren t perfectly smooth you may wish to sand them down again. But if nothing happens you can refinish wood cabinets using polyshades. Then put it on your stained furniture in an inconspicuous place.
If the finish gets gummy or the cotton ball sticks to the wood then you cannot use polyshades. Let it soak in for about 10 minutes and then wipe off the excess. Tip use a good brush or foam brush a light hand with enough product that it doesn t pull and drag. I ve had far better luck getting stains matched by the staff at the paint store than i ve had trying to mix colors off the shelf myself.
