Note that this is only required for cabinets with a recessed bottom depth of at least 7 5 cm 3 inches.
Paint the island the shelves and the base shoe. Attach the countertop by screwing up through the cabinets. I put 2 4 screwed into the wooden subfloor and once it was level i screwed the cabinet bases into the 2 4.
