We removed the wallpaper and painted the walls to make the space feel light bright and open but replacing the faucet with a delta cassidy faucet in beautiful champagne bronze made the most significant impact. Oak cabinets have the special distinction of having a very prominent wood grain. You can also give some dark color elements for the flooring to support the color. I want to partially remodel the floor plan. Wood cabinets don t have this extra issue. I really don t want to replace base cabinets or granite tops. Most pine maple cherry etc.
Yes we my husband will be shiplapping all the drywall in our kitchen to contrast our oak cabinets.
