Here s a little hack i made from ikea grimslöv kitchen cabinets turning them into a shiplap entertainment center.
Adding shiplap to a kitchen island is an easy and affordable way to add character to your kitchen. They either hid appliances such as the refrigerator or chose versions that had a vintage vibe. We initially wanted our favorite carpenter friend to build a custom wall unit for us but he was too busy at the time. The pale gray shiplap making up the base of the counter helps to add pleasing lines to the area.
This gorgeous kitchen uses pale blues to the fullest effect. Featuring french style kitchen cabinets this all white kitchen uses vertical shiplap boards on its wall to give the illusion of a higher ceiling height. All of the combined lines draw the eye around the photo. One wall is made entirely from blue mosaic stones making the white cabinets and windowsill brighter by comparison.
