A lower countertop areas gives prep surface for baking and use of small appliances. The term peninsula refers to a set of cabinets that are connected to the rest of the kitchen on one side. Geometric hexite tiles by fireclay are finished with pale blue grout which complements the upper cabinets. I do like the new peninsulas where there is a function included such as a range or a secondary sink etc with seating on.
This design features a raised breakfast bar peninsula fronting the living room. White u shaped kitchen boasts square cabinets fitted with custom lighting. Modern kitchen accented with striking multi colored backsplash tiles and surrounded by a two tier peninsula. A pair of pendant lights illuminate the peninsula with two seating.
The kitchen itself is designed with white beadboard cabinets wood flooring and a creative chalkboard accent wall. Small white kitchen boasts glass mini pendants hung above a peninsula fitted with white flat front cabinets and a stainless steel dishwasher topped with a marble countertop holding a stainless steel sink paired with a polished nickel gooseneck faucet. Cozy kitchen features brick walls designed with a french clock. This kitchen proves small east sac bungalows can have high function and all the storage of a larger kitchen.

An l shaped kitchen design with peninsula generally has a layout with one wall of cabinets with a peninsula making up the seating area. I actually prefer a design leaning toward galley kitchens so a peninsula is more my style than is an island. A large peninsula overlooks the dining and living room for an open concept. Peninsulas don t always have cabinets and sometimes they are simply an extended cooktop area of the kitchen.I always liked a kitchen with a peninsula although the removal of any cabinets above it circa 1970 was a great improvement in more current designs. It complements the wood stained cabinets topped with white marble counter.
