Give the frame a second coat.

Allow them to dry thoroughly. Spray it on and after 15 20 minutes test your surface. Buy a selection of dulux paint tester pots online or from your local hardware store. Then fill holes with the wood filler.
For old wood cabinets with a painted finish use an excellent de greaser first such as kleen strip fill any small nicks or dents with wood putty lightly sand all surfaces of doors and drawer fronts with 200 220 grit sandpaper. Between coats sand the surfaces lightly making sure to clean up the debris afterwards. Working from top to bottom apply the paint to the cabinet exterior across the grain then tip it off with the grain. Clean all of the surfaces to be repainted with a solution made from one part trisodium phosphate and four parts water.
